Product Details
Seawater reverse osmosis systems is an efficient and energy-saving seawater desalination device. It utilizes the selective permeability of reverse osmosis membranes to remove salt and impurities from seawater, thereby obtaining fresh water.
The SWRO systems can remove impurities such as salt, minerals, and microorganisms from seawater, thereby converting seawater into fresh water. It have a pretreatment system to remove impurities to protect the RO membrane. Some equipment also has an energy recovery function to reduce energy consumption. At the same time, it have a variety of protection mechanisms to ensure stable operation.
How do seawater reverse osmosis systems work?
1.Pretreatment
Seawater enters the pretreatment system and is removed from suspended solids, colloids, organic matter and other impurities through sand filters, activated carbon filters. And other equipment to reduce the turbidity of seawater and prevent the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and algae.
2.High-pressure pump boosting
The pretreated seawater enters the high-pressure pump, which boosts the seawater to the required working pressure of the reverse osmosis membrane.
3.Reverse osmosis membrane treatment
The boosted seawater enters the reverse osmosis membrane assembly. Under the pressure higher than the osmotic pressure of seawater, the water molecules in the seawater pass through the reverse osmosis membrane into the fresh water side. Impurities such as salt, minerals, and microorganisms are blocked on the membrane surface and discharged with the concentrated brine.
4.Freshwater collection and post-treatment
The freshwater treated by the reverse osmosis membrane enters the collection system for necessary post-treatment. Such as water quality reduction, pH adjustment, and antiscalant addition, to ensure that the quality of the freshwater meets the use requirements.
How do seawater reverse osmosis systems look like?
What are the advantages of seawater reverse osmosis systems?
1.Efficient desalination
The systems uses RO membrane technology to effectively remove salt and impurities in seawater, with a desalination efficiency of more than 97%.
2.Energy saving and environmental protection
Compared with traditional seawater desalination methods, reverse osmosis technology does not require heating, so the energy consumption is lower.
3.Modular design
The seawater reverse osmosis systems usually adopts modular design, which can be expanded or reduced according to actual needs, which is convenient and flexible.
4.Strong corrosion resistance
The main components of the equipment are corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloy to ensure long-term and stable operation of the equipment in harsh environments.
5.Wide range of applications
The seawater reverse osmosis systems is suitable for seawater desalination projects of various types and sizes, whether it is small household equipment or large industrial equipment. it can meet the needs.
